My Teacher, My Hero

What is really a hero? A hero is not only the one who shows up in the time of suspension, pulls out a sword given by the gods, and kills the vicious beast before him which had destroyed the city streets and the citizen's properties. And also not the hero who has amazing superpowers like super strength, invisibility, and eyes that shots laser beams. A real hero is the person who saved you by lighting the candle of your life from the darkness and showed you the way which God made for you. Along the way, this hero molds you while accomplishing obstacles and finally, helped in shaping the beauty and richness of yourself as a person.
Teachers had greatly influenced  our daily lives, from giving us the best quality of educational information until being our best friend- a blessed instrument lord gave us for our success. Teacher's day is not only for them to enjoy and be proud of their profession but for all the students to show our appreciation and be able to give thanks and to express our greatest gratitude for all the teachers in the world. In every school I've been in, there is always a teacher I fully idolize and thankful to. When I was in 3rd grade, parents were separated and I was living with my mother in Davao. My 3rd grade teacher and adviser, Mr. Fajardo, stood up and represented as my father. Like any father, he gave me love and understanding and appreciation. The greatest thing I just love about him was that, he easily finds beauty in his student's work. He appreciates and values beauty which became the reason for the development in my artistic imagination and creativity. And now,my third year values teacher, Mrs. Pulangas, was also a hero in my life. The scene of her saving me was still very fresh in my mind. She gave me hope, strength, and wisdom for me to be able to successfully solve my problems. And after that, she gave me a hug- the sweetest and most unforgettable hug in my life which moved something deep inside me. My heart was filled with her love and passion.
Teachers are not only mentors but also saviors. They save us from falling in the depths of hell. They catch us and put us back on the track for us to continue making most of our lives. For the teachers that served as our saviors and angels, thank you so much. I hope you would continue to save others the same way you saved me. I love you, teachers!
