If I would look on the brighter side, at least my speed and accuracy in typewriting had developed more than the it was before. And I hope that the bright side would show me the thing that is illuminating the bright light on that side, specifically I hope people can discover me even with my limited intelligence on literature.

Reflective essay
I'm not really the kind of person who always buries his buttocks on a chair and tortures his eyes with the light emitted by the computer monitor. And also not the one who can go and surf the internet that easily. So when our English teacher told the us- her students, to create an account on blogger.com and post our written literature their I felt like I was going to lose every hope that was in me. At first, I completely disagree with the idea of posting things on a blog and me spending a lot on money to access the internet because I lack the equipment but I thought, it was a requirement in English 3 and I need to respect the reasons of our teacher for us making this blog.
reaction paper on the deconstruction of thank you ma'am
The story "Thank You Ma'am" was a great story to read. It can move anyone and it gives inspiration to renew our deeds, manners, and attitudes for the sake of our reputation and for the people in our society. But, I really do not agree if we do the same things Mrs. Jones had done to that young boy. The deconstruction has more significance and it is something that I can agree upon. It was really realistic and can be applied on the real things our real world and is more concerned about common sense and logic. So, The deconstruction of the Thank You Ma'am was a much better choice for me to read.
Our world today is experiencing poverty, not all of us but a great percentage of the population. According to research, fifty two percent of the population are people who are in need. They need to work their minds and bodies out in order to have their daily needs and to survive every day, seven days a week. It is a rare thing to see for a woman living in a rented house and that sleeps in a day-bed, take in a boy who had tried to steal from her, gives him a chance to escape and even giving that little boy the money for the blue suede shoes that led him to commit a crime. If that young boy tried to steal from other man, and not from Mrs. Jones, he sure would be in a lot of trouble. If that was happening today the victim would directly go to the police and report the crime done. Or if the thief was robbing the wrong house or man in the wrong time, he would taste torture and the man or house he was stealing from will let him suffer and drown in the sea of embarrassment. If I was that boy and my parents would know about what i had done, they will surely scold me and also ground me. But, I don't think they would be too cruel to me, I guess they would give me some advices and say some things that shows they don't want me to be like that..and this..and that they really care for me and they won't let anything ruin my future.
Mrs. Jones care and understanding for the boy can be considered. It was a great thing for her to do. But she never considered her status and her life situation, being a middle-lower class woman. She could have thought that what she had done could result for the boy to depend to other people for his needs and his wants. And if he realizes that no one wants to just give things away easily, I thought that he will get back to stealing from stores and houses and other people. On the other hand, on Mrs.Jones side ,if people would do what she did to that boy, our society would collapse. People would let others do things for their satisfaction. And they would commit a deadly sin, being lazy.
Change for the Better
There are many things which are happening in our world today, most of these are bad things. Decrease of stock supplies, increase in prices, climate change and unpredictable natural disasters are some of the problems our world is facing and trying to solve at this present day. The only one who can save the world and its people is only us, the humans. God created man to protect and preserve His creation. What we need to do is to change. Change can be hard but if we all start from the smallest area then expand little by little, we can change for the better of tomorrow.
To accomplish change one must start in his or her self. We cannot get the change we want if only a little of us have focused and have a great faith in changing. One must have proper and good discipline in his/her heart and mind to change easily. It is not only one person in the whole world to change but for each one, to change themselves and their way.
If we had attained and applied the change we want in ourselves, then we can change the unnecessary and unwanted things in our society. Because the people living in the society had learned how to change, then this change in our society. There are many things we want to change in our society. The cleanliness can be a change, the people living in a community should make their society a peaceful place and a place where its ideas and goals are united, can also become a change for the society.
Our society had changed. Now it is time for our own nation how to change. Because each society had change their ways in manipulating the environment and responsibilities as a community, our nation can also slowly change in the nation we want it to be. What most people want for their nation is for it to be successful in many fields such as science and technology. We also want it to be a nation that does and promotes the saving of our mother Earth. Science and technology can be a very big help in the saving the world process and can also increase a nation's income.
We can now save the world because we had successfully changed our nation. For our world to change, unity must be achieved. If all nations in the world could unite in one goal then we can achieve the change we long for the world.
Even if change can be hard to achieve, starting from the smallest thing and little by little expanding in a more bigger group then change can be successfully done. To change one must have good self discipline and express love and unity.

What Christmas Means To Me
Christmas, a very special day that every person in the Christian community celebrates and gives significance to it's existence. The tradition in celebrating Christmas only happens once in a year, the 25th day of December. Most people take this opportunity to spend Christmas with the ones they love the most and the ones important to them. It is a day where love and hope flourishes and a day which the whole atmosphere's filled with happiness.
The Christmas tradition is known to men, all over the world.People takes a break in work and school, goes back to their hometowns, and wastes time being with their family and people they love and inspired by. For some it's about gift giving and a time for pretty lights and decorations. Many of us thinks that when Christmas time is coming, it's about receiving gifts and giving gifts. People worry about what they're going to get for the people on their list. And also others think about whether or not they're going to get presents this Christmas. In relation about gift giving, a popular person during Christmas is Santa Clause. Santa Clause, a very famous figure to children, gives gifts to good kids and not to children who had been naughty all year. Kids today when they hear about Christmas they think about Santa Clause and his holiday spirit filling the air on Christmas eve. But The real meaning of Christmas is about our savior, Lord Jesus Christ and doing the things that He wants us to do. We should celebrate Christmas for Jesus, we should celebrate his love, power, glory and salvation of Jesus Christ and his message of hope to the world. Christmas is all about Lord, Christmas is Jesus Christ
Celebrating Christmas has nothing to do with spending a lot of money for gifts and having elaborate and expensive parties. The biggest celebrations are the most personal ones spent with people whose company we love. It is about praying and strengthening our faith to our savior and thanking Him for all the things He had done for us.
My Teacher, My Hero
What is really a hero? A hero is not only the one who shows up in the time of suspension, pulls out a sword given by the gods, and kills the vicious beast before him which had destroyed the city streets and the citizen's properties. And also not the hero who has amazing superpowers like super strength, invisibility, and eyes that shots laser beams. A real hero is the person who saved you by lighting the candle of your life from the darkness and showed you the way which God made for you. Along the way, this hero molds you while accomplishing obstacles and finally, helped in shaping the beauty and richness of yourself as a person.
Teachers had greatly influenced our daily lives, from giving us the best quality of educational information until being our best friend- a blessed instrument lord gave us for our success. Teacher's day is not only for them to enjoy and be proud of their profession but for all the students to show our appreciation and be able to give thanks and to express our greatest gratitude for all the teachers in the world. In every school I've been in, there is always a teacher I fully idolize and thankful to. When I was in 3rd grade, parents were separated and I was living with my mother in Davao. My 3rd grade teacher and adviser, Mr. Fajardo, stood up and represented as my father. Like any father, he gave me love and understanding and appreciation. The greatest thing I just love about him was that, he easily finds beauty in his student's work. He appreciates and values beauty which became the reason for the development in my artistic imagination and creativity. And now,my third year values teacher, Mrs. Pulangas, was also a hero in my life. The scene of her saving me was still very fresh in my mind. She gave me hope, strength, and wisdom for me to be able to successfully solve my problems. And after that, she gave me a hug- the sweetest and most unforgettable hug in my life which moved something deep inside me. My heart was filled with her love and passion.

Teachers are not only mentors but also saviors. They save us from falling in the depths of hell. They catch us and put us back on the track for us to continue making most of our lives. For the teachers that served as our saviors and angels, thank you so much. I hope you would continue to save others the same way you saved me. I love you, teachers!
Our Values Today
As time passes by, the world and its face changes and our lives become more sophisticated. Problems come and go and science advances in great heights. But are our values touch by these changing factors? Or did it sill last together with the development of ourselves?
Yesterday, our history was full of rich and valuable values. Peace was maintained and live was in the atmosphere. Today, the present that is said to be a gift given by God. God gave us a ladder on which we must climb every step to advance and be complicated with our lifestyles. Technology and science had been successfully climbing this ladder. but our values have not. Many old people are disappointed in the attitude and deeds of the young today. The Maria Clara image of the girls is now gone. An image showing the attitude of being conservative, gentle and humble. In this modernized world, the people's formality in clothes speech and way of living has changed due to Western influences and rebellion. And respect and politeness is now changed and declining. The changes in our physical world had became the element in the change of our values. As the earth changes, our values changes. could this be the end of our society?Or can we still control it before the 11th hour? The change is up to each and every one of us . Start with the man on the mirror, start with yourself.
Our values today maybe deteriorating but retrieving it back is still possible. we must all realize what has became of ourselves and try with all our best and heart to correct it. If man will believe in the power of will and has faithfulness in everything, then, values will improve and humans will continue to develop.
